The day was 14 August 2023 when I stepped into Arcelor Mittal science centre. The day that changed my world business-wise
I came to learn about many business concepts and had to apply them in my personal as well as professional lives.
I’m grateful to Lusa Community Chest organization that took the time to teach us women on how to run and manage our businesses
I came with no knowledge of business management and finished the class with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
I have learnt the importance of cash flow/income statement/ financial management and ensuring that money is accounted for i.e compliance with all business-related regulations and laws
This is the stepping stone to getting funding and trust from financial institutions and the growth of the business.
I apply emotional mastery including the leadership tree that a business person should display.
I’m now a different businesswoman with vast business skills and knowledge that I apply in my business and everyday life Most importantly I share the teachings with family and friends which is the multiplying factor.
I’m now a confident businesswoman who takes her business seriously and treats my temporary staff with respect while practising the human resource teachings from the Abigail Women Programme.
I met fabulous women who came from different backgrounds and that made us form a wonderful family and this is my network, support system as well and my social capital
By the end of the class in the month of November I came to understand and experience the importance of utilizing the documents given to us and How useful they are in my business
I finished the training on a high note when I was issued a certificate of participation. This is my licence and key to associate with big and established businesses
The journey has not ended though. Lusa is always available to us with the help of wonderful, jolly and respectful facilitators.
I can go on with good testimony of Lusa and the training to fill a whole book.
